    According to Wu, Vance Spencer, co‑founder of Framework Ventures, indicated that with Sky token no longer subject to lock‑up restrictions, most early investors have either fully exited or markedly reduced their positions: Paradigm (7%), a16z (6%), Bain (2‑4%), Syncracy (1%) have sold out completely; Dragonfly (about 4‑5%) and Parafi (about 3‑4%) retain only small stakes.     Sky Buyback --> quick read Since Mar 1, 2025, Sky’s on-chain buyback has taken in 1.452B SKY with $90.7M USDS. It’s been running every day. Pace: roughly 5.1M SKY/day (about $320k/day). Last 24h: 5.2M SKY (~$280k). Scale: that’s ~5.41% of circulating SKY already retired. Given how much supply sits staked/locked, the hit to free float is real. How it works (in plain terms): Sky builds operating surplus, fills safety/governance buckets, and then the Smart Burn Engine buys and burns SKY only when market cap is below a fundamentals-based target. If it’s not, it waits and stacks dry powder. My take: revenue-funded, rules-driven buybacks plus a tight float are good per-token economics, as long as cash flow stays healthy and the burn policy keeps doing its job. NFA.
