    Deribit Chief Business Officer Jean-David Péquignot said that $60,000 is not only a key psychological level for Bitcoin, but also the lower bound of the cost range for institutional investors. Over the past year, many ETF investors and institutions have had cost bases concentrated between $60,000 and $67,000. If BTC breaks below $60,000, the expansion of paper losses may lead to further selling. In addition, put options with a $60,000 strike on Deribit have an open interest nominal value exceeding $1.2 billion, and market makers' hedging activities could exacerbate the decline, while the risk of leveraged long positions being liquidated may also amplify market volatility.
