Multicoin Capital just unstaked $120 MILLION of $HYPE, a month after publishing a report calling for $319 a token. They pulled 1.96 MILLION tokens out of staking across three wallets today. Those coins had only been staked for about two months. Back on June 25 the fund put out a full valuation model on Hyperliquid. Bear case $109, base case $319, bull case $689 by 2028. Their argument was that the market prices Hyperliquid as a perps exchange when it's really building an everything exchange. $HYPE trades around $60 today. Unstaking isn't selling, to be clear. It's the step you take before you can sell. But it lands days after an a16z linked wallet pushed $28 MILLION of $HYPE onto exchanges and knocked 12% off the price. Two of the biggest funds in crypto, moving the same way in the same week.

Hyperliquid rolling out prediction markets is just very interesting. The decentralized nature I think will actually lead to some VERY interesting markets that we don't traditionally see. 1st one that comes to mind are the few that Cobie escrowed. Looks like that won't be needed anymore! Overall though, very cool to see, and very eager to see what additional HIP-4 markets come out. My gut tells me a TradeXYZ type of product will roll out specific to that Prediction Markets.

I don't care who changed their pfp here this week. I care about one number on DefiLlama. Holders Revenue. The crypto version of a dividend, that actually lands on the holder, through buybacks, burns, or staking payouts. The whole tracked market moves about $125m of it a month. One protocol, of course Hyperliquid, accounts for roughly $41m of that. Most other protocols with real usage and real volume, sit at exactly $0 here. The app works. The token holder gets nothing. That's the questions I ask before touching an altcoin. > Does the token have a real claim on the cash the business generates? > Or am I just betting on attention? This matters more as prices climb, not less. TradFi doesn't price attention. It prices cash flow. The protocols already paying holders are the ones that will see strong adoption. Hyperliquid didn't outperform the whole market because of hype but because of fundamentals and product-market-fit. The mechanism was already there. Price just caught up. Holders Revenue deserves a spot next to TVL as a standard screen.
