I came across @celo that went from being an L1 to an ETH L2 : celo has currently around 666k daily onchain active addresses while a project like $monad with 10x more funding has around 14k daily active users in terms of speed performance : base block time : 2s (2000ms) celo block time : 1s (1000ms) faster than base worth noting - its the same team that delivered one of the more successful early ICOs (6–8x returns) tbh not many teams from that era are still shipping and adapting and $celo is now also available in MiniPay making the token accessible to 14m+ global users through curious to see if this model (existing userbase + L2 pivot) becomes a more common playbook btw gm
