    What a chart. Sonic now feels like a ghost town. Rewards stopped. Farm TVL left. Only a few apps look active. DeFi TVL: ~$42.9M (today) Fees: ~$171 / 24h 1 year ago it was one of the top chains by activity. Real question: Name one app with real users. If you still use Sonic, drop the one protocol that still works.

    This kind of move makes me want to buy more app tokens. @SonicLabs understands it has to try something to prevent $S from entering a death spiral. It’s stepping away from the traditional “neutral” general-purpose L1 model and building its own application layer directly on top of the Sonic chain, with a clear objective: - drive real value accrual to S instead of relying purely on base-layer activity. No one wants to buy structurally insolvent tokens anymore.
