    all the major crypto company is now building for AI agents.. > coinbase launched agentic wallets. > binance released 7 AI agent skills. > OKX built agent wallet tools > crypto. com launched agent key. > dune built an MCP server so agents can pull on-chain data from 100+ chains. x402 protocol already processed 50M+ transactions. virtual protocol tracking $479M in AI generated GDP from 23,500 active agent wallets.. this reminds me of defi summer 2020. back then every project suddenly rebranded as defi. had a governance token. had a yield farm. and everything pumped. COMP went from nothing to billions. SUSHI was literally a fork and still did 10x. it was simple → narrative forms → one winner emerges → money flows in → everyone chases → bull market right now AI agents have the infrastructure. the announcements. the big names building. what's missing is, the $COMP moment. one breakout project where community is actually making money from agent transaction revenue. not potential. not we processed X transactions. actual value flowing back to holders. until that happens, it's the best thesis in crypto with no bid. but when it clicks.. this could be the next sector that drags the whole market up. just like defi did in 2020🤞

Here are the key takeaways: 1. Jake's background Jake started his career as a lawyer specializing in compliance and government enforcement defense, spending years working directly with regulators including the SEC and the CFTC. He discovered crypto in 2017 and became convinced early that blockchain technology had the potential to fundamentally reshape the financial system. In 2019 he moved into the industry full time, joining Compound where he worked on some of the earliest DeFi governance token models.
