    I studied this KAT‑vKAT‑avKAT that was mined before the year. vKAT cannot be sold, but after staking it into avKAT it can be sold. Redemption takes 45 days. I deeply regret staking it now. The staking is 1:1, but swapping 1 KAT can get roughly 2 avKAT. In a coin‑denominated system you can get 2 avKAT for 1 KAT, then after 45 days redemption... the coin‑denominated amount doubles..

    I looked into this KAT‑vKAT‑avKAT that was mined a few years ago. KAT cannot be sold, but after being staked into avKAT it can be sold. Redemption takes 45 days. I now deeply regret having staked it. The staking ratio is 1:1, but with the same amount you can buy roughly 2 avKAT for each KAT.

    I did some research on this token mined before the New Year KAT-vKAT-avKAT vKAT cannot be sold, but after being pledged into avKAT it can be sold. Redemption requires 45 days.

    KAT launched today and I am seeing many divisive opinions. And this is my honest take as a user of @katana of the finalized $KAT tokenomics. Before touching the token, you need the one-line thesis: Katana is a DeFi-native chain built on @0xPolygon's AggLayer. → It does not use KAT as gas (ETH handles that). → It does not use KAT to govern chain upgrades. KAT singular job is to direct capital flows across DeFi pools through a modified ve(3,3) voting model. The chain was designed around one core idea: import deep liquidity and recycle yield and fees back into the ecosystem. The Vault Bridge, AUSD stablecoin, chain-owned liquidity, and sequencer fees all feed into KAT utility. Pre‑TGE, Katana has generated $3.5M+ in protocol revenue using non‑transferable KAT, unusually strong for a chain at TGE. That is the flywheel. I parked $20k in the pre-deposit for around 7 days and got roughly $40 worth of vKAT. Also got about $2 worth from staking $3,000 in POL. It’s actually funny at this point, but it is what it is. Just gonna leave it there. Dust anyway.

    Imagine destroying the goodwill of your community to avoid $31,125 of sell pressure 🤣 Even if yappers were able to sell at the high end of the launch price, the sell pressure would be under $50k.
