    Today Toncoin (TON) officially changes its name to Gram (GRAM) Brothers holding $TON don’t need to do anything; the remaining balance will be automatically converted 1:1 to $Gram TON is still the blockchain name, while Gram is now the trading token ps: TON means ton, too heavy to fly, so the devs changed the name to gram to be lighter and easier to fly 😂

    Wu said he learned that the The Open Network team confirmed that its native token Toncoin (TON) has been renamed to GRAM, and all TON balances will be automatically converted to GRAM at a 1:1 ratio, with holders not needing to swap, migrate, or claim.     TON just pulled a “back to the roots” move. Its native token is now $GRAM, the original name used in the 2018 whitepaper, while the blockchain remains The Open Network. The important part: holders do nothing. Balances convert 1:1, and anything asking users to “claim” or “convert” GRAM should be treated as a scam.
