    good post on what drives a chain's value today, mirrors and expands on a lot of my own thinking from my article on L1's vs L2's - https://t.co/UXFHg0BMVT the TLDR is: chains that don't produce their own revenue-generating apps will become irrelevant you must have your own native revenue engine, build the key app(s) yourself, or take strategic stakes in the apps that are driving demand or you can wind up in a situation like Polygon, where the outsized success of Polymarket arguably does very, very little for the price of POL

    Not too long ago, @0xPolygon announced a major partnership with Revolut, Europe's biggest fintech player, bringing stablecoin payments, trading, and even $POL staking straight into one of the most widely used apps on the continent. They've already pushed over $10B in stablecoin remittances, and in Latin America alone they cleared $380M in November, which made up nearly 90% of the region's activity. Since the integration went live, @Revolut users have already moved $690M+ through Polygon, and this is still the early stage of the rollout. When you look at the fundamentals, it just fits. Fast finality, low fees, and a developer base loaded with resources make Polygon one of the few networks actually wired for mass adoption. When institutions roll out real volume, they'll always default to the infra that proves it can handle it.
