Moca Network Launches MocaProof Beta @animocabrands’ @Moca_Network has launched MocaProof, a zk-enabled digital identity platform that lets users verify credentials without revealing personal data. The beta includes evolving avatars called Mocat that unlock rewards such as MOCA Coin and partner airdrops. MocaProof is live on the Moca Chain Testnet, with a US$50,000 launch campaign.

The continuous dumping of $MOCA has started to become quite disappointing for me 🐰 Considering that the tokenomics have been changed and investor cliff periods were extended, this kind of price action shouldn’t have happened. Within the community, people have started to speculate that the dump is coming from Animoca Brands. To be honest, while Moca has done amazing work so far in terms of infrastructure partnerships, the products they actually delivered on top of that infrastructure have been pretty underwhelming. I think this comes from a poor understanding of the market. What has been promised to users so far hasn’t turned out to be as impressive as intended, which makes the success of Mocaportfolio’s launch extremely critical. There’s still a scenario where Animoca and Mocaverse can reverse the current situation and manage their potential properly but they need to actually want it. We will see but first need some answer.

I’m continuing to add $MOCA to my portfolio 🐰 The main reason is that Mocaverse is still building a lot of products; Mocaportfolio, Moca Chain, and more. But there are also several things I’d like to see improved. In particular, I think the marketing side has been quite weak. You can build amazing products, but if no one hears about them, it doesn’t mean much. I know the Animoca Brands team is very experienced. Hopefully, they have a plan in place.
