Privacy Boost (@PrivacyBoost) by @sunnyside_io is live on OP Mainnet. The first privacy offering by an Optimism core developer. Drop-in SDK for confidential computing for Sunnyside's customers on any OP Stack chain. ZK + TEE hybrid. Sub-500ms proof generation. High throughput. Compliance-compatible architecture. Institutions asked how to go onchain without exposing customer data. Sunnyside built the answer on the OP Stack.

Just because “decentralised” in your head is something ideological doesn’t mean it happens in practice. Use @l2beat to understand more about this. When regulations push the boundaries of what DeFi means, we all jump to say that it is bad for innovation. When the DPRK is nuking crypto portfolios, we all cry about how bad DeFi security is. When 70 million dollars are frozen by an L2 that functions as a DAO and clearly is not code based decentralised, it does not make it centralised overnight. You were just too ignorant to understand the process behind it. Most of the time we are just a bunch of people who like to make drama about anything and everything, no matter the direction.

Optimism just changed how OP Mainnet orders transactions for the first time since the chain launched. Not a tweak to gas limits. Not a new opcode. The actual rule that decides whose transaction lands first. If you've ever watched a bot front-run your trade and then paid gas on a failed transaction that had zero chance of filling, this is the experiment they're running to fix that. — ➠ The Problem Nobody Liked But Everyone Accepted Right now, @Optimism Mainnet runs on a priority gas auction. You want your transaction included first? Pay more gas than everyone else. Simple. The side effect: the chain has no memory. It doesn't know if you're a market maker who's been providing liquidity for 18 months or a bot that won't exist tomorrow. Every block, everyone competes from zero. So what actually happens? Bots spray dozens of duplicate transactions hoping one lands. Failed transactions pile up and eat block space.
