    Stablecoins aren’t “niche” anymore, they’re a visible part of global money supply. @noble_xyz They’ve exploded since 2018, and now people are seriously talking about a $1–3T supply by the end of this decade. When that much dollar demand flows into Treasuries, you get a small but persistent downward pressure on rates. In a crisis, the Fed’s “cut rates and create room” margin also gets a bit tighter. The “global savings glut” analogy fits, but this time the flow isn’t coming from central banks, it’s coming from households and corporates. In emerging markets, it speeds up everyday dollarization. That can weaken the FX rate’s role as a shock absorber and push the adjustment burden onto real variables like inflation, employment and output. On the flip side, this is also the US potentially recreating its “cheap funding privilege” from the bottom up. Banks don’t disappear, but part of money creation shifts outside the banking channel: deposits → stablecoins, stablecoin issuer → Treasuries. That slightly dilutes how cleanly Fed rate policy transmits into the real economy; in return, transparency, fast data and redemption assurance become more important. ➜ Noble angle: structures that set a standard of “good collateral + local issuance + compliance” (USDC on Noble, T‑Bill‑backed USDN etc.) make that growth safer and more auditable. ➜ To me the opportunity is: actually moving cross‑border payments and corporate collections into real production. ➜ The risk: as policy flexibility and FX buffering weaken, reserve reporting / redemption transparency becomes the first line of defense. ═══ As stablecoins grow, they nudge the rate regime slightly lower, weaken FX as a shock absorber, and push part of money creation outside banks; the winners will be the infrastructures that standardize trust around collateral, redemption and transparency.

    Personal experience of a coding novice using AI to build a data dashboard on Dune: 1. The more detailed and specific your requirements, the better. Unlike asking AI to write an article, the more details and the smaller the problem, the clearer the final program code will be. You can also have AI help you clarify your logic and list it point by point. If you only give a vague sentence, the result may be a mess. 2. After clarifying your requirements, to avoid AI misinterpretation I usually add a sentence: "If you encounter anything you don't understand or that is ambiguous, or if you think my requirement logic has issues, first confirm the details with me, and only after there is no ambiguity proceed with the execution of the request." AI will typically reconfirm the details with you; after one or two rounds, the requirements become clearer and the chance of the subsequent code going off track is greatly reduced. 3. Cursor is very handy; as a beginner, I feel it is much stronger than chat-based AIs like Grok and ChatGPT in terms of code accuracy and error handling, though it could also be because I haven't paid for the advanced features. 4. The generated code will most likely contain errors; report the errors to AI and iteratively ask and correct. 5. At this stage we are more like a “product manager”; we need to define clear requirements + clear direction + constraints + comparisons. 6. It helps a lot if you have some knowledge of Python and SQL. Finally, stop overthinking and just do it.
