    robinhood FOMOed people so much that they are paying $40 for 1 usdc on @arc mainnet via otcs just to position for ARC memecoins in early but its actually a scam there’s no such thing as receive real usdc on arc before mainnet is live (its not possible) they will simply send you usdc after mainnet is live, so why pay 40x more that ? also some ‘overly smart’ people are burning thousands of real usdc on base/eth towards ARC’s CCTP domain thinking when gate opens we will get arc usdc minted first > best case : it gets stuck in flight indefinitely with no guarantee it ever mints > worse case : you approved router and mint recipient sends it somewhere that isn’t you tldr ? there is no early gate to get ARC usdc dont burn your funds and fall for scams, just wait for mainnet anyways, saw few early potential runners but yk its always risky to share super early one’s the hype on arc is insane are you positioned ?

    stablecoins are no longer just a payment tool. they're becoming collateral in regulated markets Marex clients can now use USDC as initial margin for regulated futures and options trading in the US. infrastructure is provided by Coinbase Prime this is a more significant development than the "pay with crypto" narrative because the real problem in market infrastructure isn't money moving fast ➛ it's collateral sitting idle in the traditional system margin transfers depend on banking hours, operations teams, and settlement processes with USDC the theoretical chain is: 24/7 transfer ➛ faster collateral reuse ➛ lower operational friction ➛ higher capital efficiency tokenization's first major use case might not be moving equities on-chain the earlier and larger use case could be this: collateral moving when it's needed, not when the market is open but an important distinction here: this doesn't mean all futures markets are switching to stablecoins this is a first use case opened for specific Marei clients in regulated derivatives trading ➜ but the direction is clear: stablecoins aren't just "digital dollars" anymore. they're increasingly becoming financial collateral operating at internet speed
