    I locked in a nice short on $BIRB this morning. I'm waiting to open a new position. $BIRB is supply controlled so I think we could see a short squeeze since the consensus on CT is to short it now that claims are live.     don’t have an opinion on the $birb token but i keep seeing rhetoric that the % of supply distributed to holders was too low. do people realise that the more supply that goes to holders the less inclination a team has to drive value to it over their own equity?

    there are rare exceptions like hyperliquid where benevolent teams want to do things in the spirit of crypto but these are far and few between demanding or expecting more supply is effectively ensuring that the token soft rugs (using that term lightly) on a long enough timespan

    so peanut airdrop by @moonbirds 6m tokens were transferred to the airdrop address, 2.5m to the nft hatching program the wallet that funded all of this received 24m tokens even if we consider everything combined, that’s ~2.4% including nft + airdrop allocations ..... added an image from the latest airdrop claim page, 1 fig airdrop lol, probably kaito sbt holders, kek nft holders also received peanut, but their allocation is vested & every month they will receive their allocation (869 $BIRB/nft for main collection) (did most of this on mobile that's why ss sucks, but still we got a pretty good idea)

    $BIRB allocation isn't bad for nft holders if you ask me Lets calculate OG moonbirds got 21k tokens approx which is worth around $6k at the moment if we compare it to $PENGU FDV launch which was around $3B these tokens would have worth of around $60k which is quite good. But market conditions arent same so I wont say airdrop isn't decent but only thing which was wrong was vesting Anyways am enjoying my $10 unvested birb tokens
