Immutability is foundational to DeFi credibility. When teams can change contracts at will, TradFi gains the regulatory edge and the entire ecosystem suffers. Kudos to @Morpho for leading by example.

Immutable protocols have always carried a curse: every new version had to re-bootstrap its users from scratch. Teams had to re-incentivize the supply side, wait for demand to appear, and repeat the cycle until the system bootstrapped again. Morpho Vaults V2 can break this cycle entirely. By allocating through a Morpho DAO–controlled registry, they supply into Markets V1 today—and the moment Markets V2 (or any future immutable version) launches, it can simply be added to the registry. The vaults instantly recognize it as an eligible destination. The result: Morpho Markets V2 will launch with deep liquidity on day one.
