Tezos has just upgraded the network with the Tallinn release, shortening block creation time to 6 seconds, faster than before and without requiring a hard fork. This is Tezos's 20th major upgrade since its launch in 2018. The Tallinn upgrade brings key improvements: - Faster transactions with lower latency. - Reduced data storage costs for applications on Tezos. - Allows all validators (bakers) to collectively confirm each block, using BLS signatures that aggregate multiple signatures into one. The new address compression mechanism saves about 100 times the storage space. The goal of this upgrade is to enable Tezos to handle more transactions to serve real‑world applications.

One of the best-looking alts right now, with a much better structure than 95% of the market, is XTZ. Even versus BTC, it has crossed above the 21 EMA (or below, depending on how you read the chart). It’s a pretty old coin, has held a top-100 spot for nearly a decade, and that kind of longevity proves it’s here to stay. Obviously, at the end of the day it’s still an altcoin, but throwing a few bucks in at these levels for a potential 6–7x to $4 feels like a 92%-probability play.

Okay so far there’s only one place to trade/ to defi with uranium onchain: @uranium_io which is on etherlink powered by $xtz. My first time ever bridging to etherlink and holding tezos (for gas) lol. Liquidity is thin but you can actively hold a representative asset onchain which is cool. Keeping an eye on the following: - @uraniumdigital_ which should be launching soon on solana. - @HyperliquidX hip-3 markets to offer perps on it - @OstiumLabs to offer perps under it’s commodities section Wildcard here is @SphinxProtocol which is centered on commodity trading so keeping close attention to this one. It’s no secret that commodities/energy is the 2026 trade so they have a massive opportunity here. Tradfi wise I hold positions on $ura & $dnn
