2.5K @0xDataWolf Optimised this morpho markets rates table from 400+ CPU seconds to 100 ish with a few tricks so plebians like me can enjoy some good rates without spending credits
The trick is quite 臭 and funky. Basically data needed for all things rate-related are split among 3 tables but they come from 1 set of events emitted in the solidity script. By tracking the position (row_number) of each block as it executes and prints data, you can join them (some fake ass key of sorts). This results in an intensive row_number processing and joins hence the slowness
I initially wanted to join on market ID as it is a guarantee for correctness. Turns out you don't really have to worry about duplicate positions because the code forces it to execute in a certain way, in a certain order (at least from what I had understand it). So as long as the positions match, the joins will be right
But what a crazy adventure trying to keccak the 5 parameters with dune (because the market ID is the hash of the 5 market parameters to show immutabil
