It isn’t. @uex_us is positioning itself as a US-based platform connecting cryptocurrencies, fiat services and real-world assets. And @Algorand checks many of the boxes institutions are looking for. 👇 Algorand was founded by @silviomicali, an MIT professor and Turing Award winner whose research helped shape modern cryptography. This sounds pretty great! Aside from Quantum Resilience, I got a question for my @algodevs people: I've always thought about having a way for users on the blockchain to send public OR private transactions. Is this something that is possible? Sounds awesome. Ie: I can choose between sending 500A publicly or privately based on different reasons.

In 2025, it executed what is widely considered the first post-quantum secured transaction on a public blockchain mainnet using Falcon-1024 signatures. This was not a simulation or testnet experiment. It happened on mainnet. By Q3 2026, Algorand plans to introduce native deterministic Falcon-1024 accounts, alongside SDK support, AlgoKit integration and compatibility with Pera Wallet. The roadmap also includes post-quantum multisig accounts, hybrid LogicSig accounts and research into Falcon-512 and Verifiable Random Functions. The long‑term objective is clear: broad quantum resilience across the network by the end of 2027. What makes this particularly interesting is that Algorand’s work is no longer being recognized only within its own ecosystem. Coinbase’s Quantum Advisory Council specifically highlighted Algorand as one of the first blockchain platforms to deploy post‑quantum signature schemes in production across both consensus‑related mechanisms and the execution layer. Google Quantum AI also cited Algorand extensively in its recent research on securing cryptocurrencies against quantum attacks. According to the Algorand Foundation, the paper referenced Algorand 32 times and mentioned several of its engineers, reflecting years of research into Falcon signatures, cryptographic state proofs and quantum‑safe migration paths. Most blockchains are still discussing how a transition to post‑quantum cryptography might look. @Algorand already has Falcon verification available as an AVM primitive, supports account key rotation and continues to expand its roadmap toward native quantum‑resistant accounts and eventually quantum‑safe consensus. Quantum computers may still be years away from threatening today’s networks.
