    Wow the @AlignerZ_Labs x @wallchain Leaderboard finally updated for EPOCH 1 \u0026 ended. Thank you for Aligners for giving me the opportunity as one of the original 26. I finished at spot 21 so was within my original goal of top 26 . In the last 5 days it was super competitive as I was as high as 18 \u0026 cannot maintain my 20 rank \u0026 had to go to 21. In all 20 or 21 does not matter as I learned alot from all those that competed \u0026 those that finished at the top was well deserved. Many hosted amazing Space, Test Plays \u0026 thread that deserved the top rank. Looking forward to Epoch 2 of @AlignerZ_Labs

    A new era for $APE is here For the past 3 years, $APE has continually emitted new supply out daily as part of the $APE staking design That’s a lot of $APE being emitted but no sinks in place… until ApeChain came in But having an own native chain didn’t stop the downward trend It did for a bit but the $APE staking emissions just proved to be too huge to overcome Pretty sure Yuga & ApeCo knows this is a problem and they’ve bookmarked the end of staking as an important day for them to make changes What changes? 1️⃣ Well, remember when @HeadofApe said that $APE is gonna be deflationary during ApeFest? That starts the day when $APE staking ends On the day that the staking ends, ApeCo announced that all gas fees used in ApeChain will be burned 2️⃣ ApeCo committed that they’ll buy the equal amount to the burned $APE from ApeChain gas At least some positives to flow back to the chart 3️⃣ Yuga is committed to making Otherside the ApeChain killer app That means they’ll push for more transactions, more usage, more content creation around this All these will ultimately be good for $APE It will take a lot more than these to correct the course for ApeCoin but at least it’s a good start so far If $APE gets back on track, then the entire Yuga ecosystem will as well It will take some time 🦍

    The end of staking is undeniably bullish for $APE Staking emissions were really, really large. For the last 91 days, 54,955 $APE has been emitted daily from staking. Every single day. Over the 91 days before that, it was 68,681 $APE daily Over the last 3 years, 17.5% of the total supply of ApeCoin has been emitted by staking. An average of 159,817 $APE per day. The constant emissions undoubtedly contributed to the downward price movement of $APE. That all ends today. It's a new era for $APE. It's not a stretch to say that today marks the most significant shift in $APE tokenomics since Day 1. Every transaction on Otherside burning $APE just adds fuel to the fire (no pun intended).
