$LDO was one of the biggest tokens that i bagheld - not proud to say. but imo the real problem came in the fact that it was not run like a business but more like a school project.

So what went wrong with @LidoFinance ($LDO)? Have never heard a proper post-mortem by the team or @hasufl... Would be helpful case study as it was long heralded as a category winner that would translate into token performance. Most liquid funds bought it and sold the narrative to LPs as an example of altcoin to own with a clean and easy to understand business model & narrative. For a long time, ostensibly: - Largest DeFi protocol by TVL - Dominant market share in LSTs on the largest smart contract chain - $50m - $100m+ run-rate revenue to DAO depending on yields / timing - Easy to use product and no security issues Yet, the token down only for 4+ years. Bad governance / insiders raiding the coffers? Poor management of expenses? Other? I have my takes, but someone should do an episode on this. Think we are owed that.

Wu says they learned that Lido tweeted that the Aave oracle yesterday caused liquidations for some users due to abnormal price quotes, and will fully compensate affected users. The incident was caused by an error in the Aave CAPO oracle's price range setting for wstETH:USD yesterday, and did not result in bad debt.
