Yet I've always wondered: WalletConnect is such a handy tool, so why is its token $WCT just lukewarm? Is the market really blind to it? Staking verification: a secure channel safeguarding massive fund flows. Governance voting: decides standards and upgrades of payment protocols. Network insurance: provides merchants with fraud insurance, requiring staking and reputation backing. For each incremental increase in payment volume, WCT's utility solidifies further. It is no longer just a "utility token" but the heart of the entire payment network. I still wonder why the market is so indifferent to WCT. But perhaps it's like early Amazon: before it completely reshaped shopping habits, few believed an online bookstore could become a giant. True disruption often appears in the least disruptive form.

I don’t know how the data was compiled, but walletconnect believes the blockchain payments track has a $400 billion annual payment market. $wct QR code payments, if it can capture a certain market share in this track, would be good. walletconnect has long been a monopolistic blockchain aggregation login gateway, but the lack of profit channels has always been a major challenge.
