A reminder as emotions run high with #ZEC: Late in a move, price doesn’t need “bad news” to go lower, it just needs no new money. Going long requires fresh capital. Going short uses already-posted collateral. When liquidity above has already been consumed, pushing price higher offers little incentive. That’s usually when structure, not narratives, matters most. Stay objective. Protect capital.

Someone jumped into my comments today claiming that because #ZEC showed “$3.5B volume in 24 hours,” it means the move up was strong spot demand and that calling it “low volume” was somehow lying. This is exactly why new traders get wrecked, by listening to some young kid who has no clue what he's talking about. BTW, he has been blocked so that he can no longer come into this forum to defame me and give inappropriate information to all of you. 24h reported volume is not equal to actual buying pressure. Most of that number is: • leveraged churn • liquidations • internalized MM flow • arbitrage cycling • bots filling the book • people exiting positions • derivatives volume masquerading as spot If that $3.5B were real spot accumulation, the wedge wouldn’t have broken and we wouldn’t be failing every retest. This idea that “a big volume number means bullish momentum” is one of the most dangerous misconceptions in crypto. Be careful who you listen to out there as follower count doesn’t equal market understanding. Liquidity plus structure tell the truth. Headline numbers don’t!
