What Perpetual Options Are

Perpetual options are options with no expiry date.
Instead of paying a one-time premium like on traditional options, you pay a continuous funding fee to keep the position open just like perpetual futures.

You still get the classic options shape:
➢limited downside,
➢leveraged upside,
➢and NO need to roll contracts.

How They Work

➢You open a long or short perpetual option (call or put).

➢You don’t pay an upfront premium, instead, you pay or receive a funding rate over time.

➢ You can hold the position as long as funding remains favorable and liquidation thresholds aren’t hit.

➢ Because there’s no expiration, pricing is driven by funding dynamics instead of time-decay.
