💪 zkVerify keeps moving

Over the past few weeks, the network has shipped major upgrades focused on one thing: scaling verification, improving cross-chain UX, and preparing for what comes next.

🧠 Node Update 1.1.0 is live.

This release lays the groundwork for ParaVerifier, zkVerify’s first dedicated parachain for proof verification.

Why it matters:
• Verification no longer relies on a single execution path
• A dedicated environment optimized for throughput
• Ready for much higher proof volumes

This is a major architectural step.

⚠️ Important for node operators.

Node Update 1.1.0 will become mandatory once ParaVerifier is officially registered.

What to know:
• Updating early is strongly recommended
• Prepares you for a smooth transition
• Keeps you aligned as the network scales

This isn’t routine maintenance. It’s a structural upgrade.

🌐 Volta Runtime Upgrade 1.4.0 is now live on testnet.

Key improvement: expanded XCM support.

The long-term goal is simple: Move $VFY across chains without users needing to touch XCM directly.

Less friction on the surface. Full security underneath.

🛡️ Safer cross-chain transfers are here.

If funds are accidentally sent to the wrong address type on VFlow, they’re no longer permanently lost.

A recovery mechanism is now in place for edge cases.
This is a safeguard, not a change in best practice.

Real-world resilience matters.

🪪 On-chain identity has arrived on Volta.

With pallet-identity:
• Users can register on-chain identities
• Registrars can verify them
• Explorers can show names instead of raw addresses

The foundation is live.
Richer identity, reputation, and participation models are starting to take shape.
