Around $5.7B of that volume was generated during the five weeks of the World Cup, from June 11 to July 19. > World Cup-related markets accounted for roughly 63% of all prediction market volume during the tournament. > More than 400,000 wallets participated. > Daily volume went from around $50M during the qualifiers and pre‑tournament period to $250M–$300M+ per day once the tournament started, peaking around the final. > NFTs and digital collectibles: FIFA Collect, built on Avalanche, processed around $24M in trading volume and helped roughly 100,000 fans access tickets and related experiences. FIFA generated at least $6M from secondary‑market activity. > 55% of bettors were profitable. Among those profitable users, 79% already had previous experience with prediction markets
