    Zero activity this week for spot $LINK, $DOGE, $AVAX ETFs... Despite renewed interest in both the memecoin and altcoin markets, several major crypto assets saw $0 of activity this week for their spot ETF products. Spot ETF suites for the likes of @Chainlink, @Avax, and @dogecoin all recorded no days of either net inflows or outflows. Canary's spot @Hedera ETF, however, saw a single day of net inflows on Wednesday for some +$461K, now holding 1.61% of $HBAR's market cap.

    🏛️ FATF Releases DeFi Report… Hedera Cited as a Settlement Layer Example The Financial Action Task Force (@FATFNews) has published its latest report on Regulatory Challenges from Decentralised Finance (DeFi), outlining how governments should approach AML/CFT supervision of the growing DeFi ecosystem. 🧱 DeFi Stack Framework FATF describes DeFi using five layers: • Settlement Layer (e.g. @ethereum, @solana, @hedera) • Asset Layer (e.g. ethereum:native , solana:So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112 , hedera-hashgraph:native ) • Protocol Layer • Application Layer • Aggregation Layer 📖 Hedera Referenced When explaining the Aggregation Layer, FATF cites Hedera's official "DeFi Stack" Learning Center article as a reference. ⚖️ Focus on Control, Not Just Decentralization Rather than regulating DeFi simply because it is decentralized, FATF emphasizes "Control or Sufficient Influence" as the key factor in determining whether a project falls under its regulatory framework. 🌍 Global Regulation Still Developing The report also notes that most jurisdictions have yet to establish comprehensive DeFi supervisory frameworks, highlighting that global regulation remains at an early stage.
