    People are looking at the wrong number on Hyperliquid. The conversation is about market share. 8% of global perp OI. "Binance still dominates". "It's still small". In absolute terms, sure. But absolute share is not the interesting metric. The rate of change is. Two years ago Hyperliquid had effectively zero open interest. Today it sits at 75% of OKX, 51% of Bybit, 20% of Binance. From zero. No KYC, no marketing machine, just a DEX that worked. OKX did not get to its current size in two years. Neither did Bybit. Those exchanges took the better part of a decade and a full bull cycle. Hyperliquid is closing the gap during a bear.
