    Monero ecosystem P2P trading platform RetoSwap stated that the Haveno trading protocol it uses has been found to be exploited by attackers. The team has urgently suspended trading by raising the minimum client version to 2.0.0 and banning the attacker’s Onion address. RetoSwap emphasizes that its own infrastructure was not breached; the incident stems from a Haveno protocol vulnerability. In May of this year, RetoSwap disclosed an attack in which attackers exploited the protocol vulnerability to steal approximately 7,000 XMR, valued at about $2.7 million at that time. https://t.co/SuGrsYULRq

    Most people will forget about my $XMR swing long over the next 1-2 years. I won’t. When XMR is trading at 800, I'll post the compound entry, the PnL, and quote tweet this post. It’s already bookmarked. My RR is simple. 90% risk for 900%+ reward. That's 10:1 odds. I trade mathematics. It's going to be a long, bumpy road. Many round trips, many drawdowns, and plenty of volatility along the way. But in the end, we'll find out whether it was worth it. HODL.

Licensed exchanges must thoroughly vet projects before listing, continuously monitor after listing, and completely ban privacy-focused coins such as Monero and Zcash. 🔸 The Philippines Central Bank requires all digital asset service providers to undergo strict due diligence and approval processes before allowing the trading of any token. Exchanges must continuously monitor listed assets and have a delisting mechanism if a project encounters issues such as loss of liquidity, bankruptcy, fraud, loss of peg, security breach, or false information disclosure. 🔸 Philippines officially bans privacy coins (transaction identity-protecting coins) such as Monero and Zcash on licensed platforms. If a token is considered a security, exchanges must also comply with regulations of the Philippines securities regulator (SEC).
