    The IMF can’t simply declare a single cryptocurrency as the new global reserve currency. SDRs are a basket of sovereign currencies (USD, EUR, CNY, JPY, GBP), and any shift happens through policy and long timelines. Even a potential e-SDR would be based on central bank money, not a privately issued token. I’m invested in XRP and respect Ripple’s tech and network, but it’s important not to mix hype with how reserve currency mechanics actually work.
