    Eigen and Story's collaboration is primarily a bet on a “decentralized AI Agent economy.” How should this be understood? • Story is responsible for making the copyright and source of each piece of data, each image, and each piece of text programmable and on-chain (Programmable Provenance) • EigenCloud ensures that every AI computation can be cryptographically proven as “I really computed it myself, no laziness or fraud” (Verifiable Compute) • After use, a smart contract automatically distributes the money to data providers, model creators, compute providers, etc. This combination is akin to giving encrypted AI Agents three things: • ID (data copyright ownership can be verified) • Trust engine (the computation process is verifiable) • Bank card/automatic settlement (on‑chain settlement) If the new species “encrypted autonomous AI Agent” truly takes off, it benefits both Eigen and Story: one profits from “copyright and data source,” the other from “computation authenticity.” In particular, verifiable compute will be an indispensable part of the autonomous AI Agent economy.
