The Subnet Ideathon, in partnership with HackQuest, is a global online challenge where you design your own subnet idea. The Opentensor Foundation x HackQuest Subnet Ideathon is not just another hackathon. It is Round 1 of a larger event running from December 23, 2025, to February 28, 2026, with a total prize pool of $18,000 USD, plus non-cash perks such as accelerator access and opportunities to pitch directly to Bittensor’s co-founders. It is an open invitation for anyone with ideas to help shape the future of decentralized AI. This ideathon is about designing subnets. You do not need to build a full product on day one. Instead, you are asked to: > Identify a real problem >Propose how a decentralized AI network could solve it > Design incentive mechanisms so contributors are rewarded fairly How does it work? > You submit a subnet concept explaining what it do

    Seriously considering nuking all my alts for $TAO (even $KAS), and going all-in on trading/accumulating subnets only (while compounding giga yields). The dTAO ecosystem is one of the few places that feels mostly insulated from manipulation, macro noise, and general crypto fuckery. SN67 rug pulls aside, it's a refreshingly rational space.

    @const_reborn Correct. There is no way for the vast majority of humans to get access to early-stage (or even late-stage private) deals. Accrediteds only. And even then, you need permissioned access. Bittensor subnets are open to all, everywhere on earth, equally.

    Everyone in Bittensor understands that the quality of a subnet ultimately comes down to the quality of its miners. Thats why Crunch becoming an active miner across subnets is such a meaningful step forward for $TAO.
