I respectfully disagree with @gkisokay here, but I understand where he's coming from; 1) If we are a true decentralised launchpad, we can't pick and choose if we want vibe-coders or not. 2) @virtuals_io remains the premiere AI agent launchpad despite having A LOT of rugs, larps and scams launching week in, week out. This was mainly because the Virtuals team refused to lift the launch price from 100 $Virtual. Now at 1000 $Virtual, it would stop a lot of the real low effort vibe-coders from launching. 3) Vibe-coders will mostly produce weak offerings, but there will be some really good, legit products that emerge. I'd want Virtuals to capture those. Imagine a banger robotics vibe-coded app or product which ends up on some memecoin launchpad rather than Virtuals for example. 4) Liquidity and attention is lacking currently on Virtuals. Why not take a slice of the vibe-coder action to help improve this. Certainly an interesting discussion though! We'll add it to the agenda for @VirtualsWeekly Episode 72 on Friday/Saturday.

$VIRTUAL's 0.78 spike actually makes me feel more grounded. It's not because I'm overly optimistic; this pullback at least squeezes some of the “sentiment” out of the charts, giving everyone a chance to discuss more concrete matters. Many people still treat @virtuals_io as an AI meme. I think it's moving toward a “business that can be accounted for”: it sells the execution capability of Agents, and settlement relies on $VIRTUAL. Look at it from another angle and it becomes clear: If it's just a story, price movements are driven solely by sentiment. But if someone is actually paying to call an Agent, then it starts generating cash flow and the possibility of compounding returns. The signals we can see on the dashboard aren't bad either: protocol revenue over $1.32 million, aGDP $467 million. @ethy_agent, this top-tier Agent is already using revenue for buy-back and burn. It also answers the question of whether the value will retreat when usage ramps up. In the ecosystem I’m currently focusing on the lines that look most “like a business”: Agents like @ethy_agent and @useOttoAI are the ones that keep working and keep getting called. @Mute_swap and @reppo are the infrastructure that big capital can’t bypass when it comes in; the privacy layer can’t be filled, and many demands simply aren’t scalable. @xmaquina is the biggest variable in Q1; the robot auction wave was intense, but moving forward I only watch delivery, not just stories. Going forward, you can keep an eye on three very specific things: 1. Whether the transition from 0.78 to 0.85 is stable and if the price can be recaptured after volume and turnover increase. 2. The Robotics announcement at the end of January—whether it’s a genuine rollout or just a timing-driven signal. 3. The revenue source of the Leaderboard—whether it’s internal ecosystem circulation or starting to attract external paid usage. Risk points: If the macro environment flips suddenly, risk assets will all ebb, making fundamentals hard to stand alone. Also, trading Agents can become too homogeneous; if ACP can’t build real barriers, they may get caught in a price war later. What pricing do you think $VIRTUAL will ultimately get from the market? Meme? Platform token? Or more like “the settlement asset for on-chain productivity”? Which one do you lean towards?
