The most hard part of building my trading bot was getting it to correctly assess the quality of a setup for opening a trade 🧐 No single rigid formula works for all market situations. On July 5, I came up with the concept of Fable’s trade analysis and evaluation and began logging its decisions. The model weighs everything it sees: the clarity of the 1H breakout, the quality of the level rejection, the depth of the 4H deceleration, the RSI position, the direction of the primary trend, the market mode from our drift block, and so on. As a result, it assigns a score from 0 to 100. The higher the score, the stronger the setup for opening a counter-trend trade. So, the results clearly show that almost all trades with a score <55 resulted in losses. This means that these trades were opened too early, when there wasn’t enough confirmation of a bounce or reversal. The signals was too weak. I’m cautiously optimistic that I’m extremely close to finding a working solution. There are fewer trades now, but we know that quantity < quality!
