what do i think about the $ZRO airdrop drama as a past farmer? simply put, airdrops are ded current farmers remind me of nft bros who didn’t move on but LayerZero didn’t just cancel the airdrop because they could, they did it to align all products built by LayerZero labs. look at muster labs, 4 projects, 4 tokens, a divide in attention LayerZero actually put more utilities for ZRO and will continue to do so Labs lives to serve ZRO and we’re seeing it in their actions • stargate acquisition • adding ZRO to its balance sheet • and now using ZRO for an innovative L1 with the biggest names in tradfi this is a painful short term decision(farmers) that will favor everyone long term! be optimistic

I might not be technically strong enough to break this down the way @rookie_of_Ph but after reading this I had to sit with it for a minute layerZero basically looked at how every blockchain has ever worked, Ethereum, Solana, Bitcoin, all of them, and said the whole model is broken from the start and the bank analogy got me, imagine walking into a bank to cash a check and every single employee, the janitor, the receptionist, the CEO, all 10,000 of them stop what they are doing to independently verify your one check that is what every chain has been doing this whole time and we just accepted it as normal so what Zero did is split the two jobs, you have the block producers who do the heavy lifting and generate the proofs, and then you have the validators who just look at the receipt and say yes or no, and that receipt is so light that a Raspberry Pi, a $150 computer, verified 30 million Ethereum transactions in 30 seconds one month of global Ethereum activity half a minute on hardware cheaper than a p
