$AAVE Update $AAVE broke below the rising trendline support and is now trading back inside the lower part of the range. Price is currently sitting around the 111 level, which previously acted as a key support area. Below this zone, the next levels to watch sit around 105 and 101. #AAVX #CryptoTrading

➥ DeFi is evolving into a capital efficiency machine I’ve been through 2020 DeFi Summer I farmed the 1,000% APY pools I looped stables until my health bar was basically oracle risk I watched emissions dry up and TVL evaporate the moment incentives stopped So when ppl call this DeFi Summer 2.0, I disagree because DeFi is moving from Emission Economy → Efficiency Economy In 2020-2022, yield came from token printing In 2026, yield comes from balance sheet design I gotta say that recent @aave governance drama didn’t weaken DeFi, it proved that capital no longer cares about DAO politics if revenue is strong enough I looked at the data properly and found out: - $AAVE is doing ~$1.4M daily fees with ~$42B in active loans. That’s roughly $500M annualized revenue territory - Even w governance drama, users are not leaving. Because liquidity depth & integration network matter That tells me something important: utility > narrative Now compare that with @Morpho - $5B+ AUM, utilization rates often 80-99%. That utilization number is what most people ignore - In TradFi, high utilization means capital is working. Morpho vaults are routing capital w precision and that is an efficiency machine That’s why I see $MORPHO as DeFi’s first serious non-custodial asset management layer Moreover, I believe modularity is risk segmentation When @Uniswap launched v4 hooks, I looked at behavior - @base quickly captured a large share of v4 fees - Hooks like Clanker pushing hundreds of millions in hooked volume → That’s programmable liquidity logic competing at the routing layer And then @eulerfinance v2 comes back with isolated vault architecture In 2021, one bad asset listing could poison the whole pool, but now risk can live inside its own container That changes how institutional capital evaluates DeFi I’m saying risk becomes measurable & everything that’s measurable is investable Then the cycle continues with yield becomes a tradable primitive Best example here is @pendle_fi splitting PT & YT changed how I personally think about yield exposure - Instead of farming & hoping rates stay high, I can fix duration - Instead of guessing funding, I can trade divergence When cumulative notional volume crosses $100B+, that tells me yield has become a financial instrument Then you have @eigencloud turning security budget into a yield layer Restaking is controversial, yes. But economically, it introduces a meta-layer: capital securing multiple services simultaneously → That is capital stacking efficiency Eventually, I don’t romanticize this cycle - $AAVE governance crisis showed me something uncomfortable that DAO fatigue is real. When $50M votes cause core contributors to exit, governance risk becomes pricing variable - $PENDLE TVL dropping after incentives proves mercenary capital still exists - $MORPHO concentration on ETH/Base means chain risk is not diversified enough So no, this is not clean institutional heaven, however compared to 2020, the difference is clear Back then, they priced upside → Now, they must price architecture So where I personally position? I don’t chase high APY anymore. I prefer: - stablecoin E-Mode loops where collateral efficiency is mathematically defensible - curated vault exposure where professional risk management exists - fixed-rate PT exposure when implied yield overshoots fundamentals - selective restaking where AVS incentives justify added complexity I size smaller. I monitor oracle dependencies. I assume incentive cliffs will come Because this cycle rewards discipline iykyk

➥ DeFi in 2026 returning value to users? Back then, it was mostly about APY screenshots Today, it’s more about structure, sustainability, and who actually captures the value - TVL is sitting around $90B+ again - Liquid staking, lending, DEXs, restaking, RWAs… everything looks more mature - DeFi applications generated $1B+ in revenue every quarter last year When I think from first principles, returning DeFi to users should mean at least one of these things: - real yield from real activity - governance power that matters - revenue sharing or ownership over infra If a protocol still emits tokens without real cash flow behind it, then it’s just delaying dilution That’s why I still respect the old core primitives ➊ Liquid staking like @LidoFinance is foundational You stake $ETH, you earn base yield, you keep liquidity… simple like that In many ways, this is like the base layer bond market of crypto ➋ Lending protocols like @aave + @Morpho also make sense to me Borrowers pay, lenders earn → there is an
