    Right now if you want to launch a token on Solana you basically have three options. - Spend a ton of technical resources doing a custom drop - Apply for an ICO launchpad and hope you get accepted - Just full send it on a bonding curve and pray. None of these are great. Metaplex is changing that. They're letting any project launch their token the right way with Launch Pools that can be set up permissionlessly in the Metaplex App. No gatekeeping, no applications, just set your tokenomics, your sale window, and go. They also just announced a first cohort of Spotlight drops launching on the platform. - - @bankmefun - @beacon_defi - @hubraapp - @tashiprotocol These are all part of that initial wave. So there's real projects using this from day one. I partnered with Metaplex on this one because what they're building actually solves a real problem and I wanted to put it on your radar. And here's where it gets interesting for the degens... They're releasing permissionless Launch Pools for memecoins too. - 1-hour launch pool window. - 40 SOL needed for graduation. - Creator gets 1% of pool fees and 1% of token supply. That's it. Clean. Because let's be real about how it works right now. Bonding curves benefit insiders and snipers. By the time you see it, someone already got in before you. && memecoins with perpetual creator fees just incentivize extraction. The creator makes more money the longer they string you along. Launch Pools are a completely different mechanic. Everyone gets the same window, same access, same price. It's a new way to do it and honestly, it's overdue.
