Starknet (STRK)

avnu v2 is here. Trading on Starknet is entering a more mature phase. The focus is no longer on “adding more features,” but on speed, simplicity, and a seamless user experience. When complex technical settings are automated. When gas fees are no longer a barrier. Market access becomes easier for mainstream users, not just crypto natives. This isn’t a minor UI improvement. It’s a new quality standard that onchain financial applications need to meet if they want to close the gap with traditional finance.

Nethermind isn’t just “connecting” @Starknet to EVM. They’re changing the cross-chain interaction model altogether. OIFS (Open Intent Framework for Starknet) brings Starknet into ERC-7683, the shared intent standard co-authored by Uniswap Labs and Across. From here, Starknet is no longer outside the intents ecosystem. Instead of: Bridge → wait → swap → pay gas multiple times Users simply express the final outcome they want. Example: “I have 100 USDC on Ethereum, I want 95 USDT on Starknet.” One signature. No user-side gas. Funds arrive in tens of seconds. The complexity is handled by solvers: They use their own liquidity on the destination chain to fill the order instantly. The system later settles them using the assets locked on the source chain. On the architecture side: ERC-7683 defines the shared intent interface. Smart contracts run on both EVM (Solidity) and Starknet (Cairo). Permit2 is implemented in Cairo to preserve a unified signing UX. An off-chain Go solver monitors events and decides fills based on profitability. Most importantly: Cross-VM intents are already working on testnet. Real transactions, not just a spec. Some technical limitations remain, but the direction is clear: Starknet is not building a bespoke bridge. Starknet is joining a shared intent network with EVM-wide liquidity. Infrastructure first. UX follows. This is how Starknet approaches interoperability at scale.

Starknet may only have 8 daily active users, but it's impressive to see it generating over $4k in revenue. This suggests it's attracting serious whales who are willing to engage at a high level. In contrast, some L2 solutions with over 1500 daily users struggle to break even, showcasing that user count isn't everything. Quality can often outweigh quantity in the world of blockchain.
