The privacy layer sits between your wallet and the chain, so nothing about your habits needs to change How it works in practice When you send $USDC through AnomaPay, the transaction executes privately and your onchain footprint stays separate from your identity inside the app To the outside world, it looks like a generic interaction rather than a direct transfer between two visible addresses You can also withdraw funds back to any address without revealing which internal account those funds came from This makes AnomaPay feel similar to a regular finance app, not a crypto tool that requires extra steps Beta Test Details The beta runs on Base and supports $USDC only Inside the beta, you can: • send $USDC privately • withdraw to any Base wallet • create a new wallet with privacy built in • test how well the system hides activity through an onchain sleuth challenge You sign in with a wallet or a passkey, receive an invite link, and get test funds to try the system. Deposits are disabled for now, so everything is safe to explore

I vote defend on @waleswoosh here. It is absolutely awful that people have lost millions. My opinion on what unfolded: - Everyone should be doing their own due diligence - If I lose money on a project, I blame myself, nobody else - Wale knows the impact bad calls have on his social capital, he's been one of the good guys in this space - Let's not be blinded here. The Founder scammed everyone, and I hope he gets what's coming - We are not a vulture society, or at least, we shouldn't be - Wale made a bad professional call, most of us have been there in some capacity over the years in this space - This doesn't make him a bad actor, and he shouldn't be made a scapegoat either - Whether he is slashed or not, remember he is human and he didn't act maliciously, it's a cautionary tale and lessons to be learned - Yes he should have disclosed and been clearer, but that wouldn't have changed the outcome here The focus should be on catching the cunt that scammed the community of $9.4m. Let's direct the energy there.
