They launched KAT pre-market trading (one hour after Binance)… and in the first hour: - Open Interest reached a massive $57.5. - A total of 22 trades were executed (yes, you can literally count each one).     📝 Project analysis: Today’s Binance pre‑market listing, KATANA, is a DeFi chain project. The pre‑market valuation is a bit unclear because the APY they showed during pre‑mining assumes $KAT reaches $1 B. Currently, the Binance pre‑market valuation of $KAT is about $300 M, which can be considered relatively low. Since the advertised APY represents about 30% of that valuation, the previously eye‑catching stable‑coin farming rate drops to roughly 3/10. However, if you break it down, offering 11%‑15% APY on stablecoins in the current market means the FDV and the promised APY are not terrible. In short, buying in at launch makes early miners extremely generous, while at the current valuation Binance looks mediocre… a bit ambiguous, lol. If there are pre‑miners, they can hedge during the rise and enjoy the high rates. I didn’t use the $1 B hypothetical inflated rate, but the chain itself is part of the Polygon ecosystem that has shown some power recently (Polygon, GSR incubating). These days Binance pre‑market listings tend to start with low valuations compared to recent projects, suggesting it might be time to curb blind short‑bias.
