NEARCON 2026 just wrapped with some of the biggest structural updates But is that enough for the damage?👇 1️⃣ THE VALUATION GOT AHEAD OF ITSELF At $11B, NEAR was being priced like a long term top 5 Layer 1. The tech was strong. The narrative was clean. Sharding, UX, scalability. It had everything a 2021–2024 bull market wanted. But usage didn’t compound fast enough to justify that premium. Now at ~$1.4B, the market has stripped out most of that future growth assumption. This is not FUD. It’s just how cycles work. Speculative premiums expand aggressively. Then they contract just as hard. The current valuation is far more grounded than the peak. That’s a positive. 2️⃣ THE CHART IS STILL HEAVY The 2023 breakout zone around $2 was key.
