    Just want to be crystal clear here as text is often a horrible way to convey how you truly feel about something: 1. Wishing nothing but success for UL and THORChain's free UI 2. Wishing nothing but success for Kenton and THORChain marketing As a $RUNE holder, I had questions about the approach and was looking to find answers. The questions that I found instead of answers made me increasingly concerned The blog post from Kenton and reply from UL today cleared a lot of these issues for me and I appreciate the time it took to bring that clarity to the forefront As a RUNE holder, I succeed if THORChain and THORChain's UI succeeds. If that happens, I am happy. Kenton is doing a great job here and if you read *all of my replies then hopefully you saw me trying to be supportive but still inquisitive to get to the bottom of things

    Kenton's post (and UL's reply to me) cleared this up a bit It was a questions a few of us kept asking and were met with silence To be crystal clear: I wish nothing but success for @unstoppablebyhs both with the free TC UI as well as their own business This space is big enough for everyone and I am doing my best to leave aside my business hat and focused on this problem only as a $RUNE holder As a RUNE holder, I want THORChain's UI to do $100B per day in volume. It's good for me and my #1 bag which is in fact RUNE Text is often a poor way to convey tone. I meant these in an inquisitive, not combative tone. If it's the best for THORChain, then I am game

    When you deal with Kenton, expect nothing less than full professionalism Last week, some questions surfaced about the THORChain Free Frontend At the time, it seemed like there were more questions than answers and it was tough to discern what was happening I think Kenton is an incredible force for good in @THORChain. Some of my RUNE is bonded with Kenton and I consider him to be a friend On last Thursday's space, we talked live for over an hour straight about these topics and I felt better after that discussion. Some more questions surfaced afterwards but Kenton said he would resolve them and write a lengthier post with every question answered This is that post and I feel that the concerns are answered At no point throughout this did I no longer want to support Kenton or what he is trying to achieve. I am a believer in asking questions and getting to the bottom of things and I think that as a decentralized community, everyone needs to come together to poke for the best solutions No decentralized community is going to automatically get it right every single time and as @KentonC137 said during that live show: things over text get easily misconstrued. You can't tell the tone of how someone means something when it's all text based That space and this post are enough to make me feel that the TC Frontend is headed in the right direction. Tensions get high and silence leads to FUD. This is why I wanted these things answered publicly and quickly Overall: 10/10 response from Kenton. Thanks for all the hard work! I have no ill will toward Kenton, UL or anyone else involved. I just wanted to see the community's questions answered and I consider this a closed issue. Onwards as always ⚡️

    Starts looking like satisfying answers, thank you to @unstoppablebyhs for their efforts 🙂 No decision is perfect, and sometimes when you want to go fast you miss bringing the community and partners along in the chain of thought —a more lengthy and public survey of providers might have helped in this department @KentonC137 but I guess you now know this in hindsight, and hindsight is 20/20. Regardless, what’s done is done, and provided Unstoppable holds on their end, which so far they have, I think this is net positive. Kind reminder to not overreact guys, people that want to help get overwhelmed and can get alienated. Questions are good, accusations are not. Stay positive. I know many of you where active in this process out of love to Thorchain & xchain DEX’s, let’s just try to turn it down a notch and be a little bit more kind and friendly 🙂 we can’t afford disunity. Keep building!

    The idea of constructive discussion became irrelevant when the statement implied we are pocketing something when in reality we literally spent paramount amount of resources to make the aggregation happen. The silence on our end was mostly because we don’t have full picture ourselves . The things are agreed upon as we proceed because from the TC side it mainly K and he has to grasp all the nuances and process it, we act in a good faith and typically adjust the vision as we proceed and discuss things with K. It wouldn’t be right for us to comment on strategic points so we left it to K to address. Re 1. So your intent is to build this and then not maintain it (as seen in your “in a few months, we’re no longer involved” above)? Ideally yes but at the same time if there is no one capable from TC side to maintain it we will have to step in for a while until we no longer needed. We prefer that route to avoid becoming outsourcing contractors. That’s not what we want. 2. Is UL using the code it builds for its own

    Great transparency from Kenton on the THORChain front-end. It takes guts to admit mistakes or confusion publicly. I'm going to try to speed-run constructive criticism as concisely as possible, so apologies in advance for any bluntness. 🙏 1⃣FRONT-END NEEDS TO BE FULLY OPEN-SOURCE AND INDEPENDENT! Love the Unstoppable guys, this is no slight at them. But there's zero point to even having a dedicated front-end if the whole thing isn't open-source and fully managed/run by internal teams. Otherwise it's THORSwap with extra steps. Right now we've basically recreated THORSwap for no reason, spent a bunch of money on it, and pissed off half the interfaces. Would have made more sense to pick an existing front-end, tell them to make a zero-fee version, and host it on THORChain's website. The only real way to make this right, and not a mistake, is open-source everything and bring it in-house. 2⃣ALL FEES NEED TO GO TO THORCHAIN It's madness to officially enshrine a third party to receive funds in perpetuity from p
