Treehouse community has posted TIP 4 proposal, aiming to allocate 50% of the market efficiency yield (MEY) fees generated from tETH for open‑market repurchase of TREE tokens. The repurchased tokens will be deposited into a designated address managed by the DAO, and later can be used for ecosystem incentives or growth programs according to governance processes. Buybacks will be carried out irregularly, with a minimum frequency of once per week.
