“Waiting for projects to have “Alpha on top + major exchange spot + major exchange futures + Korean exchange expectations”. As the market evolves, this expectation may become a consensus expectation. Consensus expectations sometimes have a drawback: there may be a safety net, but it does not necessarily bring excess returns, since excess returns stem from divergences.

My current judgment is to first get Alpha, then get onto a major exchange futures contract (to ensure the project’s lifecycle doesn’t end quickly). Next, observe the project team’s operational capability.

I think this operational capability can be divided into two types.

One type is high‑profile and aggressive, like $M. The market hype is maximized, and the token price stays consistently at a certain level. I want to point out that for a new project, when its price maintains a low‑valuation strong sideways consolidation compared with peers, it is more important for those of us without informational advantage. We will reverse‑engineer from the price chart to uncover project information, verify its rationality, and anticipate the project team’s intentions.

M rose from 0.04 to about 0.4 with strong sideways consolidation over roughly 50 days. As we know, 99% of profit in the crypto space comes from token price. A tenfold strong sideways move, with the project team actively trading at this level, at least indicates that part of their token cost is at this price and they won’t sell at a loss. Consequently, a subsequent upward move is highly probable.

The second type is a project with distinct features but initially obscure, developing quietly, such as $River.

If I determine that such a project is not a flash‑in‑the‑pan, its total token supply of only one hundred million catches my attention intuitively, although unfortunately it was largely distracted last year by hype.

Of course, this also incorporates token price analysis (not discussed in detail).
