just so we’re not confused about the "cosmos ecosystem is dead" takes:
a lot of the TVL / MapOfZones glitter was confusing "a chain exists" with "a product exists."
pre @Pumpfun , spinning up a new chain was just an earlier version of the same extractive playbook:
launch a token, wrap it in a chain, call the existence of the chain PMF
a lot of "PMF" was just:
airdrops
temporary community energy
emissions
staking rewards from locked tokens
liquidity mining
validator cartel
mercenary liquidity
narrative
governance cosplay
dump on the "community"
rinse and repeat
i know we all wanted it to be real. most of it was distribution with a block explorer.
