Wu reported that, according to a post by Yu Xian, founder of Slow Fog, the Asterix (ASTX) attack today resembles earlier incidents such as Flooring Protocol and BMP, with underlying protocols involving DN404 and BT404 respectively, seemingly related to a "high-position NFT ID shift operation overflow reuse" issue. Yu Xian warned that attackers may be looking for commonalities among similar vulnerabilities. Asterix officials have previously confirmed that the ASTX token contract was attacked, are investigating the root cause of the bug, and will publish a comprehensive post-mortem analysis.
