2024 was such a wild time to be in Crypto, but sadly like most macro trends (ICOs, Altcoins, NFTs, Ordinals, InfoFi) we likely never have a 'memecoin supercycle' again.
Why? Too many tokens, liquidity is too scattered, attention even more scattered. Trading is all about manipulation now, not believing and holding. Platforms extracted billions that will never see the industry again and people got hurt badly by all the manipulation.
There will always be memecoin runners, but I doubt we see 10+ tokens trade in the billions at the same time again. Which memes today could be trading in the billions in the next bull market?
