Someone just received 130,000,000 POL (~1.3% of the entire supply) from FalconX, one of the largest institutional crypto prime brokers used by funds and OTC desks. Recipient wallet: 0xeB23942aB368E5AF017F0178cfD9d599Cc25Fa03 What makes this interesting: • Brand-new EOA wallet (not a contract) • Nonce = 0 → it has never signed a transaction • ETH balance = 0 • POL balance = 130M POL Timeline: Mar 13, 2026 — 17:09 UTC +102.85905803 POL Mar 13, 2026 — 19:43 UTC +129,999,897.14094197 POL Both transfers came from FalconX 1 (0x1157…4101). So the current situation: A fresh wallet now holds ~1.3% of POL supply received via an institutional desk.

    Honestly the part that gets me here is how fast it moved. Community member sees a better way to handle delegator rewards, writes the full PIP himself, and the team pushes it through governance the same day. No committee meetings, no six month review cycle. Someone did the work because they gave a damn and we moved on it. That's the Polygon I want to run. If that ever changes feel free to @ me all you want 😂

    When this PIP passes, $POL becomes unstoppable. Right now, stakers earn ~2.88% — from inflation only. With fee sharing: up to 11%. That’s 8% real yield from network fees — more than 3x $ETH. This creates a flywheel: More yield → more stakers → stronger network → more activity → more fees → even more yield. I wrote the PIP to make this happen.     Is this why I am seeing many posts around $POL on my feed? To make users believe/understand that Polygon has more to offer than just the chain that hosts Polymarket? I was seriously considering allocating some of my PF to $POL but I guess it will be wise to wait until Polymarket leaves.

    Polygon burned 28.2m POL in february. looks like tokenomics are working. except Polymarket alone contributed 62% of total gas fees. one prediction market migrating to its own chain crashes the entire burn flywheel. 493m monthly transactions but revenue concentration is a time bomb.
