1⃣ @Sagaxyz__ announces the implementation of the ICS-20 patch of Cosmos, which eliminates the vulnerability from the January 2026 exploit, which led to the loss of approximately $7 million in USDC and yUSD on SagaEVM.
The upgrade will be activated in a week, after which the Mustang Finance protocol will begin to recover, including the return of collateral and the restart of staking rewards on the mainnet.
This update highlights the coordination between Saga and the Cosmos ecosystem, maintaining transparency to the community during the repair, which contributes to trust after the incident.
2⃣ @POSTHUMAN_DVS announces a key update to @CantonFdn Coin ($CC): extending the time for end-user transaction submissions from 10 minutes to 24 hours, for smoother institutional operations.
The update was approved via CIP-0107 by the Canton Foundation, which replaces the OpenMiningRound limit with a 48-hour configuration valid for 24 hours, and retains the 10-minute limit for minting rewards.
