Never touched this one, but lost some money on $SURGE and was massively disappointed in Virtuals recent behavior of launching “stealth tokens” and doing nothing. Short story is never touch another launchpad ever, it’s a rush to zero, onchain trading has been declining for YEARS.

INSTANTLY launches a presale at a $50M FDV with no backing or revenue to justify it
Raises $2M in a day (probably self injected a chunk of it)
Fast forward a couple hours all the ecosystem tokens are basically at zero
Red flags were everywhere, you just didn’t pay enough attention

I still think Virtuals eco has a rebound from here. To do so, they need to focus on a) pushing their own tech (robotics or ACP) & b) being a launchpad for more legit & less amateurish projects. The market for amateurish slop is already cornered by Bankr. This is also why I’m holding a large chunk of Surge, bc they are the largest hackathon company, they have a huge pipeline of legit projects which will be launched. So not sure where Virtuals fits in, but they need to find their lane.
