Wu reported learning that digital asset bank Anchorage Digital announced that as the first federally regulated stablecoin issuer in the United States, it has submitted comments on the proposed rule implementation (NPRM) of the GENIUS Act to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). Anchorage Digital Bank (ADB) stated that it currently issues USAT for Tether, USDGO for OSL Group, USDtb for Ethena, and expects to cooperate with Western Union in the future to issue UDSPT. ADB believes that the final regulatory framework resulting from the bill will determine how stablecoins operate within the United States, and calls on the entire crypto industry to actively participate in shaping this foundational rule.
