still on the same side here, roles should act as liquid points multipliers. organic users win, team wins, just role farming dies. simple math

for me approach hasn't changed either. i need a perp dex regardless, that's why i'm using Liquid. not opening random positions just to stack points… if roles get a direct drop one day, cool (never expected it tbh), if not, we move

i've been telling ppl in my circle i never really believed discord roles would get a direct drop. that's exactly why every post i made pushed actually using the platform, cuz at the end of the day this team has a real product and as we can see from the announcement, product usage is their #1 priority

i do have a role in liquid's discord. but i got it specifically because i thought it'd act as a multiplier on points earned inside the platform. looks like that's not happening either

i actually said this in a discord convo, dropping directly to roles makes no sense. using them as multipliers is the far more logical move. if the team just came out and said that clearly, they d get organic platform users and kill the role farming behavior. pure win win

shutting down discord and canceling roles entirely would be bad for both community and team imo. the best solution rn is a clear announcement that roles will be used as multipliers going forward

in the next months i want to get Liquidium’s web app to a state that it feels like a native (we’re already pretty close)
